Q: WHAT ARE THE DATES OF SAM’S CHRISTMAS Village

Q: HOW MUCH DO TICKETS COST?

ADULT: $12

KIDS (4-10): $10

3 & UNDER: FREE

MILITARY DISCOUNT: $6

A: Christmas market vendors are on site:

Thursday: 5PM – 9PM

Friday: 5PM – 10PM (GATES OPEN EARLY)

Saturday: 4PM – 10PM (GATES OPEN EARLY)

Sunday: 4PM-9PM (GATES OPEN EARLY)

Q: DO TICKETS ALLOW RE-ENTRY?

A: Tickets are valid for one-time entry only

Q: WHERE IS SAM’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE LOCATED?

A: Just MINUTES from the St. Croix River Crossing and ONLY 25 minutes East of the Twin Cities.

Q: ARE WAGONS AND STROLLERS ALLOWED?

A: Our gravel mile long trails are groomed to handle wagons and strollers.

With a fresh dusting of snow we recommend a small sled to pull.

Q: IS THERE A VEHICLE CLEARANCE FOR DRIVE THROUGH LIGHT TOURS?

A: Small busses, limoscene and other rideshare vehicles are welcome for drive through light tours. Vehicles must not exceed 25ft in length and be under 12ft clearance.

A: Call 715-247-5099 for any questions on lost items.

Q: WILL THERE BE FOOD AND BEVERAGES AVAILABLE ON SITE?

A: Yes, a variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the light tour. General Sam’s Bar & Grill will be open daily (4pm-10pm)

Q: HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

A: Pre-ticket sales are not available. All ticket transactions are completed upon

arrival. Cash & Credit Card payments are accepted.

Q: HOW DO I RESERVE A S’MORE CABIN?

A: Call to reserve your S’more Cabin: 715-247-5099

  • Cabins dates are reserved ahead of time!
  • 21 S’more Cabins available dailey

Each Cabin Includes:

  • Heated cabin for the evening (hours of operation)
  • S’more supplies (8 people)
  • Private bonfire
  • Bonfire essentials
  • Special visit from Santa

Q: CAN WHEELCHAIRS OR ELECTRIC SCOOTERS BE USED ON THE TRAILS?

A: The snow packed trails may be difficult to push wheelchairs through the light tour.

We would recommend experiencing the 6 MILLION Christmas lights in the comfort of your own vehicle on our DRIVE THROUGH ONLY night.

Q: WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR GENERAL SAM’S BAR & GRILL?

A: Open daily @ 4PM – 10PM (Closed Christmas Eve)

Q: ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT SAM’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE AND LIGHT TOUR?

A: Yes, Sam’s Christmas Village is pet friendly to friendly pets. Please remember to keep your pet leashed and clean up after them. If lights and large crowds overwhelm your pet this may not be the place for them.

Q: HOW IS SAM’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE IMPLEMENTING SOCIAL DISTANCING? 

A: Social distancing is easy at Sam’s Christmas Village. With over 40+ acres of open air and mile long light tour, it’s easy to keep 1 reindeer length (6ft)  apart from others.

Q: CAN YOU DRIVE THROUGH THE LIGHT TOUR?

A: There are designated drive through nights. Every Monday & Tuesday night are

DRIVE THROUGH ONLY nights @ Sam’s Christmas Village. Guests are allowed

to go through the light tour as many times as they would like. We actually

recommend going through more than once because there is so much to see!

Q: WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE ACCEPTED?

A: Cash, Credit and Debit options accepted

CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED

Q: WHERE DO I CHECK INTO MY S’MORE CABIN?

A: Guests that reserved a S’more Cabin please check-in @ Sam’s Trading Post.

S’more Cabin supplies, Santa time and cabin assignments will be given at check it.

Q: WHERE DO I PARK?

A: Parking is located right on site.

Please try to carpool with your group.

PARKING FEE: $10 per vehicle (CASH) 

Q: WHAT CAN WE BRING TO SAM’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE?

A: Make sure to dress warm and appropriate for the weather conditions. No outside food and beverages permitted for carry on. Food and beverages are available for purchase at concessions. Don’t forget your camera and a smile!

Q: COVID POLICY @ SAM’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE & LIGHT TOUR  

Sam’s Christmas Village & Light Tour is striving this holiday season to make sure you and your family stay safe. 

If you are comfortable walking in a park, then you will feel comfortable visiting Sam’s Christmas Village. The 40+ acres of open air will suit your COVID precautions and allow you to have fun with your family and friends this Christmas season. The outdoor and open air trails allow for natural social distancing, as well as the ability to space yourself from others visiting the light tour. 

If you choose not to walk the 1+ mile route, consider visiting on our drive through only nights. Drive through only nights are every Monday and Tuesday evening. 

These nights allow guests to stay in the comfort of their own vehicles and still experience the 6+ MILLION Christmas lights. 

Our walk through options are Wednesday-Sunday evenings. We encourage that if you prefer more room to social distance, please consider visiting on a Sunday, Wednesday or Thursday evening. 

Please stay at home if you are not feeling well, have a fever, or may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Sam’s Christmas Village is taking all covid precautions this holiday season. Even though this is an outdoor event, masks are encouraged in gathering areas. We assure you that our staff will be wearing masks throughout the entire season.
